On July 10, from 10 am – 4 pm, the Sister Bay Historical Society invites the community to spend “A Day in the Garden” at four gardens in Sister Bay and one in Baileys Harbor during this year’s Sister Bay Garden Walk.
Once again, guests will be welcomed into the Kutliks’ traditional perennial garden on Seaquist Road that now shares space with new varieties of beautiful begonias. From the north side of Sister Bay, travel to downtown Sister Bay to the terraced gardens of the Mission Grille, the flower and herb gardens of the Old Anderson House Museum, the secluded home of the Naleway family on Settlement Woods Road, and to the special garden grown exclusively for cut flowers by Mike Meulemans in Baileys Harbor.
Tickets can be purchased at the Sister Bay Information Office, Jerry’s Flowers, the Sister Bay branch of Baylake Bank, Sunnypoint Gardens and Gifts, and The Corner of the Past Museum. The $15 donation supports the mission of the Sister Bay Historical Society to preserve the history of Sister Bay.
