Child’s Play, sponsored by the Ephraim Historical Foundation and Door County Library (Ephraim Branch), will be held every Thursday in the month of July. The program runs 10 am – 11:15 am and takes place at the Ephraim Historical Foundation History Center. Child’s Play is free of change and open to the public.
The program features a tale, a craft, and a healthy snack geared for children four and up. Each session has a different theme and offers the reading of a great book, followed by a hands-on activity with historical flair. Every child in attendance will receive a book to take home.
The first of two Children’s Encounter with History programs will be presented by the Ephraim Historical Foundation on July 7, 11 am – 3 pm, at the Ephraim Historical History Center. The theme for this program is “Christmas in July.” The second program takes place Aug. 4 and will focus on the Native Americans of Door County. The cost of the program is $18 per child.
Space is limited so advanced registration is encouraged for both programs. To register, visit ephraim.org or call 920.854.9688.
