Glas, the green coffeehouse, has just three concerts left in their summer concert series, “Acoustic Thursdays at Glas.” The concerts are free and open to the public and feature a variety of artists from around the Midwest, each with a unique acoustic style.
The remaining concerts, which take place from 7 – 9 pm include:
August 26: The Brothers Burn Mountain – From the Northwoods of Wisconsin, the band features music inspired by the Rocky Mountains with Wilco-like angularities.
September 9: The Hollands! – One part American dreamer; one part Aussie charm; a splash of gypsy love and punk makes up the duo The Hollands!
September 23: Bill and Kate Isles – Nationally touring artists Bill and Kate Isles write down-to-earth poetic reflections of life experiences and often explore adventurous metaphorical worlds.
