Activity Kits Available for Child Care Providers

United Way of Door County is distributing free activity and craft kits to home-based child care providers in the county as part of its effort to support them. The kits were developed in consultation with child care providers and are geared toward different age groups and provider preferences. The Sturgeon Bay Noon Rotary Club is funding this project.

United Way hopes to offer kits several times over the next year. This first round will be available upon request until Sept. 12. To be eligible, child care providers must care for at least one child other than their own.

Request kits online at forms.gle/i83e4NxNjQs1Xjzh6 or by calling Jess Holland, child care community coordinator, at 920.421.3149. When making a request, give your name, address, email, the number of children in your care, the number of children who are not your own in your care, and the ages of the children who will receive the kits.
