ADRC Adds New Service Areas

The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) recently added new service areas: elderly benefit assistance and disability benefit assistance. ADRC also helps with general questions related to long-term care options, health, transportation, or social issues.

New to the ADRC, but not to the world of benefits, is Melissa Andrews, ADRC’s new Elderly Benefit Specialist. She divides her time between the ADRC offices and the Senior Resource Center.

Jessica Holland is the resident Disability Benefit Specialist. “Much of my time is spent navigating laws and the legal issues associated with Social Security,” said Holland.

ADRC services are available free of charge to Door County residents, their caregivers and their families.
