ADRC Hosts DAHI Meeting and Program on Identity Theft

Door Advocates for Hearing Impaired will meet monthly on the fourth Wednesday, 10:30 am, at the Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC), 916 N. 14th Ave. in Sturgeon Bay. The next meeting will be June 26. A hearing loop system will be provided to ensure full communication access.

Emil Quast, Wisconsin HLAA Chapter coordinator, will lead an informative meeting and discussion about assistive listening devices, which can dramatically improve the lives of people with hearing loss by eliminating the effects of distance, background noise and reverberation. The ADRC will also host a program on identity theft – the nation’s fastest-growing crime – on June 21, 10 am. Jeff Kersten of the Wisconsin Bureau of Consumer Protection will present “Identity Theft: Protect and Prevent.” He will also give the presentation at the Liberty Grove Town Hall on June 21, 12:15 pm. To register, call the ADRC at 920.746.2372.
