ADRC Hosts Educational Programs March 12, 13, and 14

The Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Door County will host educational programs on March 12, 13 and 14.

Mary Bink, ADRC’s elderly benefits specialist, will present “The ABC&Ds of Medicare: Understanding Your Medicare Options” at 10 am on March 12. Space is limited, so registration is required.

Then at 1 pm on March 12, Annie Deutsch, Extension agriculture educator in Door County, will present “Wisconsin’s State Fruit: The Cranberry.” She will discuss some of the cranberry industry’s research into making production more efficient and dealing with pests that attack the fruit. Registration is required.

On March 13, 1 pm, Stacie Scheibe, independent living coordinator at Options for Independent Living of Green Bay, will join other Options staff members to present “Assistive Technology for the Home.” During this interactive workshop, learn how new assistive-technology devices can support people in their own homes. Registration is required.

The Door County Oral Health Coalition will present “Oral Hygiene for Caregivers” on March 14, 1 pm.
