ADRC Suspends In-person Meals Effective Jan. 17

The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) will temporarily suspend all in-person dining beginning Jan. 17. In part, this decision was made to assure the ADRC can maintain adequate staffing to support the essential Meals on Wheels services provided to those who are homebound and rely heavily on this program to meet their daily nutritional needs.

The ADRC will continue to provide lunches through its carryout and Meals on Wheels programs. Other ADRC services and functions will continue to be available in person.

The suspension of in person dining at all ADRC meal sites will continue for as long as the county is in the “critically high” transmission rate as defined by the State Department of Health Services (DHS). Staff will monitor that status with the assistance of Public Health. Check the ADRC website for any further changes.
