Affordable Housing Documentary Screenings at UUF

The documentary A Place of Our Own: The Challenge of ‘Home’ in Door County will be shown throughout the county in June and July. It tells the stories of several Door County residents who struggle to find affordable housing.

A Place of Our Own will be screened at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship June 12, 4:30-6 pm; the NWTC Learning & Innovation Center June 13-19; the Fish Creek Town Offices/Library June 24, 2 pm; Stella Maris Parish in Fish Creek June 24, 7 pm; the Egg Harbor Library July 8-13; and the Sister Bay Library July 16-22.

The documentary project is sponsored by the Interfaith Prosperity Coalition, an education and advocacy group committed to facilitating access to affordable housing.
