AFT Announces 2013 Summer and Fall Seasons

American Folklore Theatre recently released their 2013 Summer and Fall Seasons, and will feature a new production in the upcoming year.

Summer 2013 Season

Windjammers, commissioned by AFT, makes its maiden voyage in 2013. Inspired by the tales and tunes of the 19th century Great Lakes sailors, Robin Share and Clay Zambo make their AFT writing debut with a coming of age tale of courage and adventure amid high waves, fresh air, legend, and song set on Lake Michigan in 1876.

Loose Lips Sink Ships comes ashore with Roxie and Anne, two hometown women who trade their regular lives for welding torches to help the war effort back home. Like Victory Farm, this show is a love letter to “The Greatest Generation.”

Muskie Love reels in Ben and Bea, rival fishing guides, both avowedly single – and happy that way, or so they think. Throw in a young couple and an over-zealous game warden and audiences will be caught – hook, line and sinker.

Fall 2013 Season

• The buzz was tremendous all summer long, so Victory Farm will return by popular demand.

Victory Farm celebrates the strength of those in a community helping to make a difference while creatively solving life’s ongoing challenges.

Summer performances are held from June through August at the AFT amphitheater in Peninsula State Park, and the Fall Season, in September and October, takes place at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek.
