Ahnapee Brewery Expanding to Fox Valley

Ahnapee Brewery of Algoma is adding the Fox Valley to its distribution network. Distribution has been limited to a handful of counties surrounding the brewery’s home county, Kewaunee. Keeping distribution close helped brewmaster and now owner Nick Calaway learn how distribution worked, and how to keep the beer as fresh as possible. He now believes it is time to take the next step and expand distribution. By mid-March the brewery is hopeful to be found in local watering holes and grocers in the greater Fox Valley area. Currently Little Soldier and Two Stall are available in six-packs, and the rest of their lineup is available on draft only. Calaway focuses his efforts on draft, as he feels it is an excellent package for keeping the beer as fresh as possible. “Serving our beer as fresh as possible ensures that it tastes as good out in the market as it does in the garage. Quality is very important to us, along with creating brews that are both interesting and true-to-style,” Calaway said. For more information on the brewery, visit ahnapeebrewery.com.
