Algoma Author Celebrates Book Release at Yardstick

Algoma author Bret Kissinger will be at Yardstick Books on April 7, 5-7 pm, to discuss and sign copies of his third novel, The Final Edit. At 7 pm, he’ll give a brief presentation and answer questions. Refreshments will be served. 

In The Final Edit, it was a bitterly cold Halloween night when college student Madison Monroe rode her bike home from a costume party and was abducted by a man in a mask. She managed to escape, but the Man in the Mask was never caught. Now, a decade later, Madison works as a fiction editor, rarely leaving her high-rise apartment, but her status quo is shattered when she receives a sample edit from a prospective author who describes her past trauma in harrowing detail – details that only she and the Man in the Mask would know.
