Algoma Cancels Some Summer Festivities

After careful consideration, the Algoma Area Chamber of Commerce is canceling some of its summer festivities due to the uncertainties related to COVID-19. Because of the economic impact the Algoma business community has felt, the Chamber of Commerce did not think it was appropriate to make sponsorship requests at this time.

The Algoma City Wide Garage Sale, Thursday-night Concerts in the Park Series and Shanty Days Celebration will not be held in 2020. Vendors who submitted registration fees will be offered the opportunity to apply them to 2021 events or receive refunds.
