Algoma Community Band and Lakeshore Singers Present ‘After Taxes’ Concert April 25

The Algoma Community Band and The Lakeshore Singers will present an After Taxes concert April 25 at 7 pm in the elementary school Performing Arts Center (PAC). Tom Mueller directs the band; David Robertson directs The Lakeshore Singers. The Community Band will perform a British Eighth March as well as some other marches, a polka, and a selection from Oliver. The Lakeshore Singers will perform “It’s A Grand Night for Singing” and “Wanting Memories” by Ysaye M. Barnwell.

Retirees Rosie Meyer and Pat LeBotte will be honored at the concert. A raffle drawing for a free trip for two to either London or Paris will take place at the end of the concert. Raffle tickets will be sold before the concert and during intermission.
