Algoma Community Band Presents Christmas Concert

The Algoma Community Band, under the direction of John Nielsen, will present their annual Christmas Concert on Sunday, Dec. 19 at 2 pm in the Algoma Elementary School Auditorium. The Peninsula Symphonic Band, directed by Paula Eggert, will also perform.

“Sleigh Ride” by Leroy Anderson will be played, along with other Christmas tunes including “A German Christmas,” “An American Christmas,” “And The Mountains Echoed: Gloria!,” “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” and “C’est Noel! (It is Christmas!).”

This joint band concert will certainly put audience memebers in the Christmas mood!

The Algoma Elementary School is located at 514 Fremont Street in Algoma.
