Algoma Sculptor Bren Sibilsky Featured in National Ad Campaign

In its current digital and social media advertising, American Family Insurance is bringing to light stories of people who are fearlessly pursuing their dreams. Inspired by their mission of inspiring, protecting and restoring dreams, and their mantra “Insure Carefully, Dream Fearlessly” the stories are intended to showcase the transformative power that working toward a dream can have on our lives, and the work ethic, perseverance and passion that unites people as dreamers.

Sculptor Bren Sibilsky dreamt of working in the art industry her entire life. Even as a young child Sibilsky loved creating artwork and wanted her parents to send her to art school. Her dream became a reality when she graduated from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. After working as a successful, award-winning graphic designer in the commercial printing industry for more than 15 years, she decided to follow her passion for sculpture and started The Algoma Atelier of Sculpture and Art, a sculpture studio and teaching facility focusing on classically realistic sculpture. A complete “makeover” from family farm to Fine Art Atelier began more than 10 years ago at Sibilsky’s (and her husband Randy’s) homestead with the various outbuildings changed into workshops, classrooms and gallery spaces. The evolution continues today with constant remodeling and upgrades.

In a short period of time, Sibilsky had a strong body of work and was not only being juried into national and international shows, but winning awards in those very shows.
