Algoma Sculptor Judges Art Show

Ever since its first exhibit at the Kellogg Public Library children’s room in 1915, Green Bay Art Colony artists have held an annual art exhibit in the space, which is now the Neville Public Museum.

A total of 60 artworks in sculpture, painting, photography, textiles/fabrics, wood and other media are on display during the 2022 exhibit, which will close March 13. The 21 featured artists will have their work judged by Bren Sibilsky, who owns The Algoma Atelier of Sculpture and Art in Algoma.

Sibilsky is an educator and full-time sculptor and painter who has artwork that reflects her interests in nature and realism in many collections throughout North America and Europe.

Her current focus is on several commissions and planning for this year’s Lost Wax bronze-casting classes at The Algoma Atelier with professional instructors Ken and Mary Davidson. Because of demand, two classes will be offered this year in early June. Learn more about Sibilsky and the classes at brensculpture.com.
