Algoma Spring Tree Care April 22

On Saturday, April 22, the City of Algoma Tree Management Committee will host a Spring Tree Care Program at 9 am in the Algoma City Hall Council Chambers at 416 Fremont St. The speaker will be Dan Traas of Ranger Services Inc. in Appleton, an urban forestry and landscape management consulting firm. Dan is a certified arborist, degreed forester and college instructor with more than 30 years of experience in his field. He will discuss tree selection, placement, planting and care and be available to provide answers to your tree care questions. This program is free and open to the public. Residents of other communities are welcome to attend. The program is funded in part by an urban forestry grant from the State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Forestry Program. This is a great free and convenient way to learn about tree care from an expert and get the advice you need to get your trees ready for spring and summer. Questions? Call 920.487.8136.
