All Municipalities Approve New Tax Deadline

The property-tax deadline of July 31 has been officially extended to Oct. 1 for all of Door County, according to Door County Treasurer Jay Zahn.

The Door County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution in May that allowed the deadline extension, but all 19 municipalities then had to approve the extension. That was completed June 25 with approval by the Town of Gibraltar. The extension is for the current property-tax year only. 

Make payments at the Door County Treasurer’s Office on weekdays, 8 am – 4:30 pm; or place payments in the lockbox outside the Fifth Avenue entrance after business hours.

Because of the deadline extension, Associated Bank will not be accepting payments for this tax period.
