The Alpine Sports Club will begin its new summer camps and classes June 20. Soccer, golf and multisport camps for all ages and skill levels will be offered, in addition to adult yoga classes for all levels and experiences. The multisport camps include various teams by age groups of 3-6 and 7-12 in the sports of tennis, golf, pickleball, basketball, soccer, yoga and more.
Simon Ward, Alpine Golf Course manager and athletic director, has 25 years of experience in coaching, designing and developing sports programs at every level and is renowned for introducing soccer to younger players. The soccer camps will include teams by age groups of 3-6, 7-12, and 13 and older.
Those who want to improve their golf game can participate in the Alpine Golf Academy: golf camps for all ages and skill levels that include exclusive use of the Golf Academy venue’s traps, chipping areas, greens and practice range. Golfers will learn various techniques and practice all aspects of the game. Younger players will play fun golf games, cover the basics and become rounded golfers; older players will fine-tune and improve their game using practices set by the course pro. All players will have tee times to play and compete on the Alpine Golf Course every day during camp.
Beginning June 18, Alpine yoga classes will welcome beginning, intermediate and experienced levels on the waterfront. Classes are complimentary for Alpine Resort guests and $15 per person for others.
Soccer, golf and multisport camps run Monday-Friday. The cost is $149 for a full week of camp or $36 for a single day. Visit alpineresort.com/sports-club to see the schedule and reserve your spot.
