Alpine Resort Hosts Zenshin Daiko Taiko Group

Alpine Resort is hosting Zenshin Daiko – an award-winning, 10-piece children’s Taiko group from Maui, Hawaii – for a series of performances in Door County. The 10 performers are 13-15 years old and play their handcrafted Taiko drums in the revered style of Taiko: a rhythmic, artistic flow of percussion and dance.

Performances will take place June 23, 8 pm, on the Alpine’s waterfront lawn; June 24, 2:30 pm, as a pre-concert performance at Birch Creek Music Performance Center (tickets required); June 25, 6:30 pm, at the Peg Egan Performing Arts Center’s sunset concert as the opening act to Naturally 7; June 26 and 27, 8 pm, at the Alpine; and June 28, 5:30 pm, at the Alpine as an opener for The String Benders. All performances are free.
