Altrusa Club Receives Grant at United Way Annual Meeting

Altrusa Club of Door County sent two members to the United Way annual meeting and community reception, held April 3 at the Lodge at Leathem Smith. Altrusa was awarded a United Way grant of $4,400 for the 2014 Back-to-School Fair, the club’s largest community service project. This grant will help Altrusa serve more children with school supplies this year than ever. Altrusa member Cheri Meyvis applied for this grant last year and is currently applying for funding for the 2015 Fair.
