Altrusa Receives Women’s Fund Grant for Back-to-School Fair

Altrusa International of Door County recently received a generous grant from the Women’s Fund of Door County. Orlaine Gabert of the Women’s Fund presented Altrusan Cheri Meyvis with the check for $1,500. These funds have been used for school supplies, gym shoes, registration fees and backpacks for girls attending the Aug. 13 Back-to-School Fair. This year’s fair, held at the Sturgeon Bay High School, was the largest ever, with roughly 30 more girls than in 2015.
