Altrusa’s Back-to-School Fair Helps a Record Number of Girls

Providing educational tools and building self-esteem in young girls are important goals for both Altrusa Club and the Women’s Fund of Door County. Altrusa was the grateful recipient of a generous $1,000 grant from the Women’s Fund that was used to assist school-aged girls getting ready to return to the classroom.

At Altrusa’s Back-to-School Fair, held Aug. 10, 237 young ladies had the opportunity to participate – up 25 from a record number of girls last year. To find out how to help, email [email protected].
