American Folklore Theatre & DCMM Collaborate on Student Ticket Program

Capitalizing on the popularity of their ongoing student ticket program, American Folklore Theatre will once again distribute a complimentary ticket to every elementary, middle and high school student in Door County to attend the world premiere production of Windjammers this summer at the AFT Amphitheater in Peninsula State Park. Additionally, students will be able to use their free ticket to explore the Sturgeon Bay Door County Maritime Museum and the tug John Purves. Nearly 4,000 tickets will be distributed to schools the week of May 27.

“We are particularly excited about this collaboration because our world premiere, set on a tall ship on Lake Michigan, fits so nicely with the Maritime Museum’s interactive exhibits,” stated Holly Feldman, Manager of Marketing and Audience Development.

Windjammers opens June 12 and plays Mondays at 8 pm, Wednesdays at 8:30 pm, and Fridays at 8 pm. The Door County Maritime Museum operates year round, 10 am – 5 pm daily. For more information visit FolkloreTheatre.com or dcmm.org.
