AMVETS Post 51 concludes this year’s AMVETS Americanism Flag Poster Contest with awards and honorable mentions to fourth-grade students at Sevastopol School. AMVETS offers the contest program to schools and youth organizations to teach children in kindergarten through fifth grade about civics and citizenship, and it includes grade-specific and age-appropriate flag coloring and poster design at the local and state levels.
