An Artist’s Eye

Many people went out to celebrate in Northern Door for Olde Ellison Bay Days. Rick Brawner, a plein air artist from Fish Creek, was one of those people. He set up his easel and paints and got to celebrating the beauty of the Ellison Bay Park and festival-goers in the way only an artist can.

“It was a great day to be outdoors painting and meeting so many festival-goers,” Brawner said. “I was amazed at the interest, questions and comments of the many folks that stopped to talk with me about oil painting and art.”

Brawner was able to complete two 12 x 16″ oil paintings.
