The Tambourine Lounge is hosting an intimate evening of music with Genevieve Heyward on Sept. 15, 7:30. (Doors open at 7 pm.) The opening act has yet to be announced, but expect a pleasant surprise from a Steel Bridge Songfest artist.
Wisconsin-based singer/songwriter Heyward is adept at both guitar and piano and writes songs based on raw emotion and relatable experiences that cut through with melody and her rich, sultry tone. Her music has hints of indie folk, bedroom pop and indie piano pop, and her performing style incorporates humor and connection.
Straight out of high school, Heyward began touring nationally and internationally – solo, with her band or with renowned artists – and has released numerous records.
Tickets ($20) are available at SteelBridgeCreativeFoundation.org or by calling 920.743.5571. Space is limited at the Tambourine Lounge, 59 N. 2nd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay. Beverages are BYO, and masks are required. A live broadcast of the show will also be available at SteelBridgeRadio.com.
