Anderson Finishes 100th Installation

Door County metal sculptor Robert Anderson recently completed his 100th garden-kaleidoscope installation, which resides in Vero Beach, Florida’s McKee Botanical Garden – a state landmark that’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Anderson’s work is part of private and corporate collections, and his engaging, interactive garden kaleidoscopes are installed in children’s gardens, arboretums, botanical gardens, museums, hospitals, libraries, city facilities, churches, schools, parks, retirement communities and elsewhere – perfect locations for the sensory, tactile, calming experience they provide.

Anderson has designed steel sculpture, including garden kaleidoscopes, since 1997, and he now incorporates blacksmithing techniques by adding forged elements. See more of his work at rcandersondoorcounty.com.
