Angela Lensch Wins DCEDC’s Business Plan Award

DCEDC’s Sam Perlman presents a $1,000 check to Angela Lensch for winning the local business plan competition.

The Door County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC), in association with the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay Small Business Development Center, announce Angela Lensch is the winner of the $1,000 cash award for the best business plan at the 12th annual Door County Entrepreneurial Training Program.

Lensch focused her business plan on growing her business through the establishment of her own studio and gallery, to be called Angela Lensch Jewelry and Fine Art Gallery, located at 7653 Highway 42, Egg Harbor. She currently works and sells at Plum Bottom Pottery.

“After 11 years of experience being a studio artist in Door County,” said Lensch, “I have acquired professional experience, created an honorable reputation and established a consistent market to take the next step of owning my own fine art gallery.”

Lensch was among 11 students participating in the eight-week course that culminated with each of the participants writing a comprehensive business plan.

The Entrepreneurial Training Program course will be offered in January/February 2014. For class information contact Sam Perlman at [email protected].
