Ann Jerdee Awarded Melvin Jones Fellowship

The Sturgeon Bay Lions Club recently presented Lion Ann Jerdee (right) the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. Lion Secretary Jim Karwowski (left) presented the plaque to her at a recent meeting.

Jerdee, an active Lions member since 1996, was award for her outstanding service to the Lions and the community. A retired educator who served as principal of the Sevastopol Elementary School for many years, Jerdee served as a Past Director, Secretary, and Chairman of the Community Days Fund Raiser since 2006 for the Lions. She has also been active in the community as Past President of the PEO, Charter Member of Altrusa of Door County, a Miller Art Museum volunteer, Member of Door County Historical Society and volunteer at Crossroads Historical Village.
