Announcing Dates for Door County Wearable Art Shows

Fashion followers – mark your calendars for the 2016 Door County Wearable Art Shows: July 9-10, Aug. 27-28 and Oct. 1-2. Each show will be from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday. Shop indoors at the Sister Bay Village Hall for contemporary, artist made women’s clothing, accessories and jewelry. An exquisite collection of handmade wearable art will transform the Sister Bay Village Hall into an “art to wear” boutique. A wide range of styles, sizes and prices are available for one-of-a-kind women who desire original designs.

Each show will feature exciting local and regional wearable artists.

Local artists include: Angela Lensch Jewelry by Angela Lensch; Bazyli Studio, organic clothing and embroidered jewelry by Peter & Skye Ciesla; Coleen Bins of Chief Oshkosh, silversmithing and intricate beadwork; Cousin’s Walk, a mix of wearables by Marcy Farber; Lotus Jewel by Mary Beth Mead; and Soo Hoo Artwear, unique clothing by Sue Donohoo. Regional artists from Wisconsin and Illinois include Amy Taylor Jewelry, Ann Louise Fashions, Gorva LTD, Ilze Heider Leather Designs, Pat Kroth Fiber Art and Pat Rued Hand Painted Fiber.
