Announcing the First Annual Door Kewaunee Business Education Golf Challenge

The Door Kewaunee Business Education Partnership (DKBEP) is pleased to announce its first annual Door Kewaunee Business Education Golf Challenge, an event that promises to be both fun and beneficial to the community.

Committee chairperson Lynn Kroll said, “The Door Kewaunee Business Education Golf Challenge is a great way to have fun while supporting a worthy cause; the effort to develop programs which enhance the skills of students throughout our communities.” Some Corporate Sponsorships are still available, but the partnership is pleased to have Donny’s Glidden Lodge Restaurant cater the event along with American Transmission Company (ATC) and Dominion Energy sharing the Title Sponsorship role.

The event, to be held at The Orchards Golf Course in Egg Harbor on Sunday, May 18th, will mark the Grand Re-Opening of the newly rebuilt clubhouse. Registration and free use of the driving range begins at 10:30 am with shotgun start at noon. The event is unique and challenging due to the 3-Club scramble format. The day will end with a 19th Hole Social at 5:00 pm which includes dinner, awards and prizes. Early registration is recommended.

The Door Kewaunee Business & Education Partnership (DKBEP) was created in 1999 to facilitate students acquiring the skills and behaviors necessary to succeed in the ever-changing, global workforce. The DKBEP builds strong, sustainable business and education partnerships which create programs that allow students to identify viable career pathways, support lifelong learning, meet local job market needs and become productive members of our community.
