Annual Fall Art Fair at the Settlement Shops

Artists and artisans from Door County and elsewhere in Wisconsin will present their latest work on Sept. 28 at the Settlement Shops from 10 am until 5 pm.

This year’s work includes some wonderfully creative recycled and up-cycled items, metal sculpture, yard art, jewelry (from precious metal to dichroic glass to vintage), handmade paper, hand-painted glassware, candles, hand-cranked socks, paintings and prints. Also, local resident Barbara Bicker will sell her felt holiday ornaments to raise funds for the Fish Creek Library.

The Heuer Brothers, Settlement Art Fair favorites, will again fill the air with familiar tunes and Sweetie Pies will offer a special treat – quiche-by-the-slice. Greens N Grains will also serve up lunch, light snacks, and beverages.

The fair is also an opportunity to check out the sponsoring shops of the Settlement, specializing in interior decor items, hand-woven rugs and shawls, beads, jewelry, clothing, alpaca goods, award-winning art, and fresh-from-the-oven pies.
