Annual Folk Festival at Peg Egan Center

Four nationally known musical acts will come together to perform at the Annual Folk Festival concert at the Peg Egan Performing Arts Center’s Sunset Concerts Series. The concert will take place at the Peg Egan PAC on Church Street in Egg Harbor on Sunday, July 4 at 6 pm.

The concert will feature Chris Kasper, an artist from Philadelphia who has built a devoted following not only of music lovers, but of his fellow songwriters and musicians. Joe and Vicki Price, recent winners of the best blues CD by the Independent Music Awards for “Rain or Shine,” will also perform.

Sara Thompsen, a singer/songwriter with a soulful voice, poetic lyrics, and haunting melodies will perform, as well as Jennie DeVoe, who specializes in a unique blend of blues and R&B.

The Peg Egan Center is an outdoor amphitheatre focusing on bringing Door County and its visitors some of the best folk, blues, alternative, jazz, and world music from national touring artists. All concerts are free and open to the public. In the event of rain the concert will be held at the Paul J. Berchinger Community Center in Egg Harbor.
