Annual Friends of Door County Libraries Sale

Plan to come to the Friends of Door County Libraries Book Sale at the Sturgeon Bay Library from July 25 – 27. As in the past, thousands of items are available for this sale in the basement of the library. Book lovers come every year at the end of July to browse and purchase from this pre-sorted, well-organized collection of donated and withdrawn books, audio-books, CDs, movies and more.

Shopping begins at 5 pm on July 25; this night is for Friends’ members to get their shopping done first. The public is invited to begin browsing and shopping on July 26, 9 am – 5 pm. On July 27 enjoy the “4-Hour Super Sale” from 9 am – 1 pm. Shoppers can fill paper grocery bags with items of their choice for just $2 per bag. Assistance is available throughout the sale to ferry items to your vehicle.

Multiple copies of books for use in a classroom or by a book group are also available.

Purchases are by cash or check only. Proceeds from the Book Sale benefit all eight branches of the Door County Library. The Sturgeon Bay Library is located at 107 South 4th Avenue. For more information, visit doorcountylibrary.org/friends.
