Annual Used-Book Sale at Sturgeon Bay Library

The annual Friends of the Door County Libraries’ used-book sale will take place July 25-27 at the Sturgeon Bay Library, 107 S. 4th Ave.

It will begin with a members-only preview, July 25, 4-6 pm. Nonmembers may join at the door ($10 for an annual membership) to attend this sneak peek. Doors will open to everyone 6-8 pm.

The sale will continue July 26, 9 am – 3pm; and July 27, 9 am – 1 pm, when Saturday shoppers may fill a grocery bag for just $4.

As always, there will be a huge array of titles for sale at low prices: thousands of books – pre-sorted and categorized for easy browsing – plus CDs, vintage Door County postcards and Friends tote bags.

Proceeds help the group contribute $20,000 annually to programs, activities and materials that benefit all eight Door County libraries.
