Annual Valentine’s Show at Plum Bottom Pottery

Plum Bottom Pottery & Gallery invites the community to Art Show 1 – The Annual Valentine’s Show on Feb. 4, 10 am – 4 pm. The gallery will be full of new jewelry and art sure to please. Featured jewelry artists include Luana Coonen, Alice Scott, Alicia Winalski and ceramic artists Eric Hendrick and Noelle VanHendrick.

Coonen hand crafts miniature heart and key necklaces beautifully capturing the spirit of love. These contemporary designs are created with recycled gold, fair-mined gemstones, and reclaimed antique diamonds.

Ceramic Buckets of Love and Cups of Peace and Might from potters Eric Hendrick and Noelle VanHendrick are adorned with words and images that gently remind us we belong and are in this together. This husband-wife team have an eye toward environmental concerns, “We are working towards a renewable future, our the electric kilns are powered by the Vermont Cow Power program. The electricity is generated by the surrounding Vermont farms.” These pieces are fully functional and dishwasher safe!

Scott’s sterling silver necklaces and earrings are symbols of sacred objects. She said, “Each piece is meant to help the wearer feel connected to something mysterious, ancient, and bigger than herself.”
