Come rain or shine, the Liberty Grove Historical Society, 11831 Hwy 42 in Ellison Bay, will host its 20th annual Antique Tractor and Arts Festival July 23-24, 10 am – 4 pm, on the museum grounds, where the historical buildings will also be open for touring.
Check out the vintage tractors and farm machinery on display; visit with local artisans; enjoy cherry brats, potato blossoms and more; take a hayride and a backhoe ride; and don’t miss the tractor parade each day at 1 pm. The Thumbs Up Riding Club will also present horse-driving demonstrations July 23, 11 am – 3 pm, and July 24, 11 am – 2 pm. The tractor award ceremony will be held July 24, 2:30 pm.
As for entertainment, Saturday will feature polka music by Jerry Voelker and the Jolly Gents, 10:30 am – 3 pm; and on Sunday, Lynn Gudmundsen and Tom Beckman will perform an eclectic mix of classic rock, country and Irish folk, 11 am – 3 pm.
Enter the historical society’s raffle by purchasing tickets at $5 each or five for $20. The drawing will be held July 24, 2 pm, and you need not be present to win.
