“Anything Goes” at Gibraltar High School

The award winning theatre students of Gibraltar High School are set to sing and dance in their performance of Anything Goes on April 13 – 15 at the Door Community Auditorium (DCA).

Anything Goes is a musical with music and lyrics by Cole Porter. The story features madcap antics aboard an ocean liner bound from New York to London. The musical features songs like”Anything Goes,” “You’re the Top,” and “I Get a Kick Out of You.” There will be a stage full of tap dancing and classic choreography in this performance.

Two of the many talented voices and dancers in the show are Zephr Ciesar, Miss Door County, and Lena MacDonald, Door County Idol.

The Gibraltar High School Theatre Group are directed by Lizz Thomas and have been recognized on the state level for their outstanding showcase productions. Last year’s Fiddler on the Roof received four state awards and the 2010 production of Seussical the Musical was chosen as the State of Wisconsin Showcase Performance.

Anything Goes is scheduled for April 13 and 14 at 7 pm. There will be a matinee on April 15 at 2 pm. Tickets are $5 for senior citizens and $10 for adults and students.
