Apply for Dome House Artist Residency

Applications are open for the third year of the Miller Art Museum’s Dome House Al & Mickey Quinlan Artist Residency, which has hosted three Midwestern artists during its first two years.

The artist who is selected for the 2023 program, set for Aug. 1 – Sept. 25, will reside at the iconic Dome House for eight weeks. This provides a respite from day-to-day life, and the sights and sounds of nature provide a haven in which to  develop creative work. The resident artist is required to actively engage with the public through outreach for a minimum of five hours per week, either on-site or off-site.

Artists who live in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin are eligible for the residency. Apply by the March 1 deadline at domehouseart.org/apply.
