Around the Door

Cottage Row in Fish Creek looks like a different road these days with new asphalting from Cottage Row Court in the north to the hairpin turn in the south. The new turnaround at the bottom of the hairpin, shown here as not yet completed as of Oct. 10, will be finished with stamped concrete and will have some pink paver design elements. The entire project came in at $743,000, and the town is paying for it with several funding sources. The road has not been milled and replaced since 1971. Photo by Rachel Lukas.
