• Zabler Design Hosts Soo Hoo Trunk Show

    Zabler Design Jewelers in Ephraim will host a three-week trunk show of wearable art by Door County clothing designer Sue Donohoo. After closing her Ephraim wearable art gallery last fall, Donohoo will return to the original location where she began her business in 2000.

  • Ceramics by Maria Kenarova Featured

    Artwork by Maria Kenarova, a Bulgarian-born Santa Fe ceramic artist, will be featured at the Santa Fe Shop in Fish Creek. An international artist, Kenarova’s decorative, handmade ceramic sculptures have appeared in exhibitions all over the world, including Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, Norway, the Netherlands, and the United States.

  • Peninsula Jeweler Hosts Gem Dig

    Peninsula Jeweler, located at 218 S. Neenah Avenue, Sturgeon Bay, is hosting a Gem Dig for the public on Saturday, June 14 from 11 am – 4 pm. For five dollars, participants will be provided a bucket of sand in which to “pan for gems.

  • Off the Wheel Pottery Hosts “10th Anniversary Celebration”

    Off the Wheel Pottery is hosting an open house on Thursday, June 19 to celebrate ten successful years of business. The anniversary reception, complete with wine and hors d’oeuvres, is free to the public and will take place from 6 – 9 pm on the Country Road E property.

    The Amish quilt room at the Jacksonport Craft Cottage showcases nearly 100 Amish quilts, recently hand-picked by owners Sue and Joe Jarosh. Quilts, wall hangings, and other Amish made items are available, as well as texts regarding the Amish lifestyle.

  • Miller Hosts Bechtold Landscape Retrospective

    The exhibition, “Rodger Bechtold: Translated Landscapes,” will continue through July 22 at the Miller Art Museum in Sturgeon Bay. This retrospective includes representative work from the previous ten years along with paintings newly created for the exhibition.

    The first Stuff-o-Rama flea market of the season is set for Saturday, June 14, on the grounds of Domicile and Stuff in Sister Bay. Vendors from Door County and beyond will be selling antiques, junque, household items, collectibles, and treasures in the old apple orchard located at 10592 on Highway 57.
