ARTicipation Hosting Fundraiser for Peninsula Pulse reporter Sam Watson

Claudia Scimeca of ARTicipation Studio & Gallery, and local musician Cathy Grier, have joined together to create a fundraiser at the studio for Sam Watson on Sept. 1, 4-7 pm, with live music, food, drinks, art and fun.

Peninsula Pulse reporter Sam Watson was in a major car accident in July, in which she broke many bones in her body, including both legs, an ankle, an arm and a collarbone. To help support her recovery and care (provided by her partner, Matthew Smith), all donations will go to the Sam Watson Benefit Fund, which has been established at Nicolet Bank. 

Grier will perform during the open house/fundraiser, along with musician friends who will join her periodically. Scimeca said she and some of her gallery artists are donating pieces of their work for part of a silent auction.
