Art, Craft, Amish Quilt Sale Oct. 7-10

Don’t miss the annual Art, Craft and Amish Quilt Sale Oct. 7-10, 9 am – 5 pm, at Mr. G’s Fernwood Gardens, 5890 Hwy 57 in Sturgeon Bay. Visitors will see more than 100 Amish-made quilts in a variety of styles, patterns and colors – on display in a gallery area with chairs set up for leisurely viewing, and available for purchase.

Local artists will also demonstrate, display and sell their work. Look for Chris Steinhagen, handcrafted brooms; Ken Klitzman and Sandra Peterson, pen and ink; Lana Bradley, hand-stitched fabric art; June Grutza, glass painting; and Kathy Plahmer, baskets.

Back by popular demand will be the crowd-pleasing Amish Cashew Crunch, available while quantities last, along with Amish caramels and Yoder popcorn.

The entry fee is $1 at the door. Children ages 8 and younger are free, but they must be with an adult at all times. Also sign up for door-prize drawings; winners need not be present to win.
