Art, Food and Drinks

Celebrate the opening of Angela Lensch Gallery in Egg Harbor on June 21, 10 am to 8 pm, with featured artist and owner Angela Lensch along with fellow featured artists. Food and drinks by Parador, Wisconsin Cheese Masters, and Tapuat Kombucha will be served all day.

The intimate gallery created within Lensch’s turn-of-the-century log home features her signature intricately woven gold and silver jewelry laden with various materials including gemstones, pearls, crystals, wood, bone, and most recently, sari-wrapped beads, as well as her new line of mosaic sculptures.

The gallery also features distinctive, sculptural jewelry by Skye and Peter Ciesla of Bazyli Studio; photography from Dan Eggert’s series “Particles and Waves” as well as the “Night Sky & Orchard Series”; beach stone and crystal jewelry by Rachel Frye; the intricate and colorful mosaics of Joseph Kaftan; indoor/outdoor Door County cedar ‘planters’ crafted by Ryan “Ace” Urquart; dragonfly, butterfly, and moth earrings by Jamie Jorns; Piece Vintage Earrings by Kerry Huth; watercolor paintings by Kathy Stanazek; and LuLit luminaries by Sally Slattery.

Lensch also features two of her classmates from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design: Marlo Cronquist, who creates handblown glass vases, bottles and hanging lights; and Chris Ahalt, who creates handblown wine glasses. (Stay tuned for his one-of-a-kind glass animal balloon sculptures coming in the fall of 2014.)
