Plum Bottom Pottery & Gallery invites you to Art Show 2: The Art Glass of Rose Kleman opening March 4 from 10 am to 4 pm. The gallery is featuring her stunning glass works evocative of oceans, winds, and flowing volcanic fire. Inspired by the natural world, she uses rich blues, greens and warm golden browns to create depth and mystery. Other pieces delight with luscious reds. Offering works both functional and decorative, Kleman’s work will add a bit of beauty to your next dinner party or in a sunny window.
“The inspiration for my work typically comes from nature, particularly the parts of nature driven by rhythm and flow such as the ocean with its tides and gentle waves, the vast desert with dunes changed by wind, and world landscapes changed by flowing volcanic fire,” Kleman said. Her pieces are fused temperatures above 1,400 degrees layer by layer to form one-of-a-kind pieces of art.
