Art Lovers in for a Treat at TAP Fundraiser

Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) presents its annual Gala Fundraising event, “Celebrate TAP!” on Aug. 15 at the Door County Fire Co., 38 South Third Ave. in Sturgeon Bay. The event takes place from 6 to 9 pm with an hors d’oeuvres buffet followed by a live art auction, raffle and entertainment from company members.

“Celebrate TAP!” is TAP’s signature fundraising event. “The live art auction will be the centerpiece of the evening,” said Amy Ensign, TAP’s Marketing and Development Director. “It illustrates perfectly the unique community we live in. Attendees will find themselves immersed in the arts community, literally, as they are surrounded by inspired works from nationally renowned local artists.”

Artists who have donated work for the TAP fundraiser include Margaret Lockwood, Shan Bryan-Hanson, Michael Doerr, Stephanie Trenchard, Jeremy Popelka, Jim Rossol, Suzanne Rose and Jim Rose. Art collectors of all budgets will find unique pieces in the live auction at the “Celebrate TAP!” Fundraiser.
