The Corner of the Past in Sister Bay presents an art fair featuring Door County Art League (DCAL) artists plus folk music and a farmers’ market on July 11, 9 am – 4 pm, on Highway 57 at Fieldcrest Road.

Art League participants will display their artwork outdoors and/or in the big barn and some artists will demonstrate their creative work. The DCAL displays will include original oil, pastel, acrylic paintings, multi-media artworks, affordable art prints and note cards, fine art photography, jewelry and more.

Meanwhile, the weekly farmers’ market vendors will offer Door County’s finest fresh fruits and vegetables plus delicious baked goods, specialty foods, flowers and other fare all morning.

In the afternoon, the Door County Alliance Folk Band, also known as Sugar on the Floor, will play an eclectic selection of folk tunes from reels to jigs to waltzes to polkas and American fiddle tunes, plus Irish folk music. All of these festivities are free and open to the public.

In addition, sightseers can explore several historic buildings (for a small admission fee) on The Corner of the Past grounds, which is also home to the museum complex of the Sister Bay Historical Society.
