On Friday, August 29 at 7:30 pm, the Outpost Gallery & Café located at 4690 Rainbow Ridge Ct. in Egg Harbor will feature two dynamic singer/songwriters, Mary Arden and Hans Christain.
Arden’s love of music took her from the small town to the big city. Now residing in Los Angeles, she has been busy writing and recording songs for movies and television. Most recently Arden’s music has been featured in the TV series Joan of Arcadia and the film The Thing About My Folks. Arden combines the honesty of John Mayer, the style of Sheryl Crow and the passion of Ani DiFranco.
After releasing several successful indie albums on her own, Arden of Edan was born, adding new musical collaborations and white go-go boots. With a new name and an extra dose of inspiration, Arden of Edan’s newest album, “Love Street,” is anything but the usual singer/songwriter melodrama. Whipping together tasty ingredients like soulful grooves and alternative rock, the result is fresh, organic Indie Pop.
Hans Christian’s musicality on the cello perfectly augments Arden of Edan’s passionate music to weave a spellbinding performance. Tickets are $10 at the door. For more information or to make reservations, call 920.868.4321.
